![]() Some people get very upset or angry because they don’t feel they have control over the situation. How do you feel when you see pests in or around your home? Most people will feel annoyed or very helpless because they found pests. Uncontrolled Pests Can Make Us Feel Helpless Termites, for example, are the worst offenders because they create the highest property damage. However, many of these pests in and around your home that you don’t see could be the ones that really cause a major concern. Typical pests that live in our area include ants, cockroaches, scorpions, bed bugs, centipedes, flies, moths, mosquitoes, all kinds of birds such as pigeons and woodpeckers, and other animals like skunks, raccoons, plus vermin such as gophers, rats, and mice. Some pests can cause harm in ways that we wouldn’t consider, such as spreading bacteria and viruses that can make you, your family, or your pets sick. They are usually there to stay until someone removes them or their natural life cycle ends. Some are just plain annoying – they find a way in and invade your home on their own. Fortunately, many of these little (or big!) critters will not cause you or your property harm. There are many different types of critters in our area. For example, food crumbs and spills can stay in the smallest places, and the smallest pests will do a great job finding them. It was removed just prior to the start of construction.Īlthough beautiful to live in, being in the middle of a desert wildlife area has a couple of drawbacks. So at this moment I'm out of $186.50 because they won't cancel my contract that was voided through their actions.Anthem is a beautiful community built in the 1990’s about 15 miles north of Phoenix. They offered me two options to allow another tech tot come out or because I am 7 months away from my 24 months (the term of the contract) that they could cut my cancellation fee in half. The same contract that became null and void when they did not complete the service per the contract! I was appalled! I told them you charged me $99 already I feel that should be sufficient enough payment considering the service was not provided. I was then told that "They understand my frustration, they can send another technician or charge me $175 dollar fee for early termination of my contract. I was charged $99 for a service that was not completed. So I explained that I would just like to cancel them as I have no desire to do business with a company that is dishonest. No knock on the door, no ringing of the door bell, nothing. Now I have cameras all along my property and a technician NEVER came to service my home. ![]() ![]() However during that call, the representative said that a technician had been to my home on the 27 of September to service my home. This past week I originally called them to question about a payment being taken out when I thought that they called and cancelled the service but upon further investigation it was not them but another company. I've been using Anthem Pest Control to service my home for the last 17 months.
